"It's probably not nice to laugh at a dog, especially one who takes his work as seriously as Hank the Cowdog, head of ranch security at a big spread in the West Texas Panhandle.
But sometimes you just can't help it.
How else can you respond to a dog who decides to try to disable a cattle trailer with "chemical warfare" — by lifting his leg on all 18 wheels — and then runs out of ammo?
Or a dog who delivers such snippets of wisdom as "he who can't control himself has no self-control" with all the gravity and self-importance of a TV evangelist?
