Review of the Play: "Hank the Cowdog and Monkey Business"

"I'm not entirely sure if the majority of the audience at the world-premiere performance of a new musical Thursday at the Tulsa PAC was quite aware of the significance of the event.
These theatergoers were more interested in learning that they would get to be a part of the proceedings, by making noises for chickens, horses and trucks at the appropriate times. Tulsa Repertory Musicals opened its new production - an original adaptation of John Erickson's book "Hank the Cowdog and Monkey Business" - Thursday afternoon before an audience made up mostly of those under the age of 15.
And the show seemed to be a hit with just about everyone present - adults laughing at some of the subtler jokes in the dialogue, the younger ones enjoying the silly antics of these grown-ups."
